Vu goes to California for the Berrics/Agenda

Gary and myself (Chris) packed our bags and headed to California to meet up with the guys at the Berrics and the Agenda Tradeshow. Below are some pictures of our trip.

Gary letting team rider Shawn Hale that we are ready to be picked up at LAX

Downtown Los Angeles

Shawn Hale is stoked to pick us up. Shawn just recently moved out to CA.

Gary not riding shotgun. The smallest one has to sit in the back...no matter what.

We grabbed dinner at a mexican restaurant. Gary and Shawn are hyped!

Outside the Index Ink office

Teff handles the daily duties over at Index Ink. Check out their clothing at the shop or at www.inktheworld.com

The mini ramp at the Index Ink office. Spent a few hours on this.

Shawn and I like to dress up together

This is my good friend Bryce with the stache. He picked up that new flannel at the Index office. We were at the RVCA party which was wack when we spotted this guy in a similar shirt.

LA traffic was probably cooler than being at that party

Random postings on telephone poles

Met up with former Expedition pro Chris Lambert (in red tee). Check out Chris on Fuel TV's American Misfits as he plays the character Slam and google some of his footage. Thanks for letting us crash at your place!

Chris (Lambert) took Bryce and I to a cool venue/bar called the Echo. We ate at this pizza place right next door to the Echo at 2AM as well as 2 or 3 other times.

Located inside Two Boots is this painting talking about Hurricane Katrina. Gets you a little choked up while eating your pizza in front of it.

No caption needed

This was inside Chris' apartment. It's some sort of jetpack device that Chris' friend made for a Spike Jonze music video or film.

Some artwork that Chris and Jesse Hotchkiss are working on together. Check out Jesse's art at hwww.jessehotchkiss.com and watch his part in the Satori video Roots and Culture.

Some original photos in Chris' apartment. See if you can play the name these old school pros.

Chris Lambert and Jesse Hotchkiss took Bryce and I on a hike. Here's a VU (view) along with a photo of Jesse, myself, and Chris

Tristan is Gary's good friend from CA. Gary crashed at his house while I was out exploring CA for the first time. This is the only trick I filmed. It's a switch stance point and shoot. Thanks Tristan and see ya in SF in a few weeks.

Gary was shooting a photo for his wheel sponsor Underground Wheel Co. Here is the crew

Here's one of the spots

This is Underground's co-owner and ripper Randy Chew. He killed this spot.

This is Walt, the other owner of Underground. Walt is a rad guy originally from Maryland but now resides in Malibu.

Inspire Clothing Trend represent

Since I live in York, I had to snap this

Gary likes skating this stuff. I watched

Another Inspire Clothing Trend sticker showed up at this spot

Walt from Underground Wheel Co took us to a skatepark, skate spots, picked us up from LA and let us stay at his place in Malibu, took us to In & Out Burger, and even dropped us off at the airport. Thanks for everything!!! Here is the view to the left of his back porch.

The hills are to the left and the beach is to the right

Gary celebratiing our trip

Walt and Gary

Walt told me that this was Dr Dre's house. I wonder if Dre needs one of those medical cards that they give everyone out there.

Homies for life. Gary is only taller than me in this photo cause he cheated. He stood on a rock.
