R.I.P Van Wastell
RIP Van Wastell. The skateboard world just lost another one. If you didn't know who Van was, be sure to find out. He will be missed.

I believe I only met Van once while in Tampa. I never spoke to him but the pain of losing someone in an industry that is small and family like...makes you reflect on your daily life (past, present, & future).
Lately I've been thinking about death. Not the death as in suicide or anything that gnarly, but death as a whole. I've been thinking about all of the friends & family that I hold close to my heart. I really do appreciate all of you and it tears me up to know I haven't spent the time I should with you (due to lifes complications and hectic schedules). I'm so grateful to have amazing friends and family. As time goes by, each day I wish that somehow I could reach out to old and current friends and tell them thanks.
Whether or not I have spent 2 mins, weeks, years, etc w/ any of you...it's all held close to my heart and will forever be carried with me.
Make sure you tell people you love and care for them. Simple words and actions go a long way. So for all of you reading this, I'll be at the grand opening of York's skatepark tmr. I'm sure I'll see a bunch of people that I haven't been able to hang out with over the past few years. Skateboarders or non-skateboarders...come hang out and treasure every moment...for you know that I will be doing just that.
-Always Love-
