If you don't know, now you know...
So I grew up watching skateboarders like Chris Bush, Rodney Jones, and my business partner and brother for life Gary Smith. These are people I call friends now and who I looked up to. Life is crazy and allows you to bring amazing people into your life. With that being said, watch the video that Vu's very own Bobby Spero was able to format from a vhs tape on the VUTUBE tab. It's from a shop called Kelley's that was in Fells Point. These times remind me of how much fun skateboarding was and how I had very little worries. Kelley's was skateboarding and I want to take this time to thank Chris Shehane for making that shop the best. If you're reading this Chris...you should make it happen again. We need more skateshops and good vibes like Kelley's. Those were the times... Watch and enjoy

Wixted blogs from the road
Team Rider Shawn Wixted sent over this blog to let everyone back here in Baltimore what he has been up to on the road. Pictures coming soon...

Hey Everybody,
It’s been a little more than a month since I’ve been gone, a little bit of here there and everywhere lately, enjoying life on the good ol highway and the adventures of everyday. I’ve been living off of 5 hour energy drinks and salads haha they have been keeping me ticking. Things have been very busy with traveling so much as we have; people often ask me well where have you been? My answer to this is always the same “I dunno” haha, I usually don’t even know what day of the week it is, everything’s starts to become a blur after a while as you become a traveling zombie haha. But overall things have been great, it’s what I live for the adventure and fun of it all. I often get to a hotel after a long day and just put on my headphones, bump some tunes, grab my board and just skate in a direction, not knowing where I’m at, or where I’m even going, just cruising the streets having a blast without a care in the world. Most of the time I find myself in empty parking lots doing heel flips and pop shoves in my own world and loving every bit of it! To most people a parking lot is just a parking lot big deal, but to me it’s a smooth paradise. I think the best days are when I’m just in my zone skating around and stop to take a break, then while I’m sitting there trying to catch up with things realizing, where the hell am I at? And how the heck am I going to make it back to the hotel? awww man not again haha. So you just might find my wandering through your town, be on the lookout. We just made it to Fresno California I’m only here for the day before were off again to somewhere else, always on the move. My adventure started in Vegas this year where free beer, slots, and a mechanical surf board setup made my days, at night I would wander to some spots I remembered from the last time I was there that were away from everything. It’s really hard to skate in the heart of Vegas because of how crowded it is, sidewalks packed with people and a steady flow of traffic fills the streets and that’s not to mention security on your ass. After Vegas we headed off to Oregon where I met up with some good friends Jamal Foreman and the crew, it was good seeing everyone again, we all skated the park on 18th street just about every day, it’s a pretty butta cement park. They got me learning some trannney, oh yeahh! It’s really crazy being in some of these small towns just for the simple fact that their ways of life are so different then what I’m used too. I was at a cross walk while the light was green and all four lanes of traffic just stopped to let me cross, I was like whaaaat, for a second I thought I was on some Bruce Almighty shizzz haha. It was wild; back home I would have been there till the light changed then hoped people would stop without running my ass over. We’ve been working our way down the California coast before we head over to Texas and so on. The other night we stopped at an Moroccan restaurant to get some grub, I’ve never been to a Moroccan restaurant before so I didn’t know what to expect, the food was so good and they had belly dancers, I was in heaven haha. Well long story short one of the dancers pointed at me and somehow had gotten me to get up and dance in front of everyone in the restraunt. That was so much fun, me pass up on an opportunity to make a fool of myself? Heck no man I’m always about it haha. I really enjoy meeting new people and trying new things as we go, I’m pretty easily amused and a goof at the same time so it’s all good. My philosophy is pretty simple I don’t need materialistic things in my life to show what I’ve done or how I live, just simply keeping my feet to the ground and moving forward living for the day and the experience and joy every day brings! Really not trying to get caught up in everything else, ya know. Hell if it gets me know where I’ll go there proud. I always like to close out when I write with something positive, there’s just too much negative nonsense out there now a days, people just get too caught up in it. No matter what anyone says always do what you feel , because there’s gonna be a lot of people out there that are going to tell you that you can’t do something just because they never did or for whatever reasons they have. But fur real man don’t ever listen to those people because you can do anything you put your mind to and you can take it even further then your imagination can think it. I was always the one doubted and delt with those types of peeps all my life and I’m sooo happy I never listened to them because I wouldn’t be doing the things that I love so much now if I did, If it makes you happy stick to it, if other people don’t understand it oh well just keep on trucking, It’s your life and you only have one to live, so live it how you want… Just remember that and skate on my friends…Until next time…

Back to the Banks, Manny Mania, & Bobby Worrest Shoe Release Party Photos
We just got back from NY for 5Boro's Back to the Banks and Redbull's Manny Mania contest. We stayed at team rider Erick Gibson's place which saved us a lot of money. Erick is living in NY to further his career as a photographer. A big thanks goes out to Erick. Here are some random photos of the trip so enjoy.
The crew that stayed at Erick's was Gary Smith, Ryan Boblits, Carl Schmidt, Tom Rowe, David Stuck, and myself (Chris Donmoyer). Here we are camping out
Here is the man Erick Gibson himself
Gary and Carl broke the window at Erick's place. We spent a lot of time climbing through the window to this little hang out area where we shared many laughs and good times.
Being short doesn't help when there are a thousand people at a skate contest. A thousand people that are taller than me does not make for good photos or even seeing anything.
Guess this guy and the kids in the back couldn't see either. Can't tell if this guy is pretending to be a fire fighter or a stripper.
The good thing about a thousand skateboarders being at one place at one time is that you're bound to run into friends. Here are a few that we ran into
Andrew Cannon makes everyone laugh and smile. Zach Lyons is short and skinny like me so we just sat down.
This was the first time I met the Muska and I fanned out. Gary used to skate with him in Arizona. Just for being a cool guy, we'll be buying more Muska Element decks. He's recovering from a knee injury so that's why he's riding this pimp bike around town.
Joey Brezinski
I used to work at Skatepark of Tampa. Here is the guy who started it all, Brian Schaefer and me throwing up the x for being an x employee
Gibson and myself went to Bobby Worrest's 'Es Shoe release party. We were on the VIP list...whatever that means and still had to wait because there were a million people inside. We were about ready to head to another bar with Captain & Casey from the Captain & Casey show on Fuel TV when Bobby came out and grabbed us. Thanks for the good times Bobby! Even though you're already a homie of the shop, we will be picking up more of your Krooked decks too.
They had a cardboard cut out of Bobby right when you walked in
Team Rider Brian Tucci is all smiles
Dan Pensyl before he got drunk
DJ Chasekillz is our Converse rep and one of the raddest guys around. Thanks for the beer at the Manny Mania contest and I'll see ya at our 1 year
Bobby Worrest killing it!
Bobby and Chris Hall
Zach Lyons
A game of skate going on inside the 'Es party. This was one of Darren Harper's friends that was called out on a trick. I forgot his name.
We walked to Max Fish to celebrate after they closed down Bobby's party.
Gibby after a few drinks and a long night
While waiting for the subway to get back to Brooklyn, we snapped this photo of a poster hanging up that reminded us of David Stuck. We got back to the place and showed Stuck. He was hyped!
