A message from VU to you
What's up everyone, we would just like to let everyone know to check the website regularly for updates. We have been updating the blog everyday, sometimes more than once. We also have the Vutube link up and running and we have been putting clips up for you guys to check out. So just keep checking back often to see what the team is up to and happenings at the shop.

Vu on the Berrics
Incase you don't stay up on your skate news Eric Koston and Steve Berra own a skatepark and they have a blog type website (www.theberrics.com). We are big fans of there site down here at the shop. During Back to the Banks in New York we saw Berra cruising around shooting pics with a camera. Turns out he snapped a pic of the group waiting to skate the handrail and team rider Ryan Boblits turned up on the site wearing his Vu shirt.

Automatic Magazine
Ryan was on tour with jetty clothing and came across an article about Washington, D.C. Inside the article team rider Brian Tucci had a sequence, and Vu a shout out. Thanks to Keir Johnson for the kind words.

Game of Skate recap
This past Saturday we hosted a Game Of Skate along with Sevenfold Skateboards. We would like to thank everyone that came out for the event and we hope to do something like this again in the very near future.

Skate Camp
Gary and Chris were super busy last week doing skateboard camp for the Reisterstown Recreation Center. Here are a few of pics we snagged of the group.
Our Trip To New York
Gary, Ryan and Chris went up for the annual Back to the Banks contest in New York City. They met up with some of the other shop riders, Willy Stackus, Brian Tucci, Spencer Brown were all up there. Photographer David Stuck was also up there, along with Dan Corrigan and Josh Schlappich. Here is a little photo recap of the trip

We miss Tom!
Some of you may or may not know that one of our team riders, Tom Geilfuss, moved to Huntington Beach, CA a few weeks ago to pursue some personal interest. We have talked to him a few time since he has left and he is doing very well. But needless to say we miss him around here. So we are going to throw up a pic of him from not to long before he left. Stay safe and come home soon Tom!

Red bull manny mania!
Chris and I decided to leave after the Back to the Banks contest on Saturday, but Gary decided to stay around and try and get an invite to the Red Bull Manny Mania. He showed up at the course and talked to the right people and within minutes he was in the contest. After he watched Spencer warming up on the course he then tried to get Spencer in, but whoever he talked to before wasn't feeling that, he even offered to switch the spot that he just talked himself into and give it to Spencer. They weren't feeling that either. But after some collisions and some major shark bite from Casey Rigney, Gary took 12th place and a swift 500 bucks. Congrats Gary!!!

upcoming event: 7Fold x Vu Game of skate
Vu is teaming up with SevenFold Skateboards to hold a game of skate. We are going to have two games one on mini ramp and one on flat ground. We are also going to have a BBQ, and some special deals on SevenFold product.
All SevenFold decks are going to be $40, and we are going to give you 10% off SevenFold wheels and clothing.
We are going to start the grills at 1PM and the games of skate will start at 4PM.
